Job Description:

  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate records of SNF and NFI stock, including daily entries in stock registers, Stock cards, and digital tools where applicable.
  • Distribution Oversight: Support the FC Coordinator in organizing and supervising food distribution activities, ensuring smooth flow and proper documentation of SNF delivered to beneficiaries.
  • Receiving & Dispatching: Oversee the safe receipt, inspection, and stacking of SNF and other supplies at the FC. Verify waybills and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts are conducted, documented, and reported to FCC as per the distribution cycle.
  • Reporting Support: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports including distribution summaries, stock balances, and loss/damage records.
  • Compliance & Record-Keeping: Ensure adherence to WFP/ACT storage and stacking protocols, FIFO (First In, First Out), and proper labelling of products and damaged goods.
  • Space & Safety Management: Maintain cleanliness and order of the storage area. Ensure proper ventilation, pest control, and safe storage practices to prevent damage and contamination.
  • Support in SNF Request Planning: Assist FC Coordinator in forecasting SNF requirements based on previous consumption trends and stock levels.
  • Coordination: Liaise with delivery teams, warehouse staff, and ACT-PMU logistics focal persons for efficient stock movements and issue resolution.

Other Duties: Carry out any other task assigned by the FC Coordinator or Project Management Unit (PMU) in support of FC operations.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates from the local community of the district.

Education:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

Experience:

  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Experience with nutrition programs, particularly WFP-supported projects, will be considered an asset.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Good understanding of inventory management and basic warehousing practices.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and support reporting procedures.
  • Familiarity with stock registers, Stock cards, and delivery documentation.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills for addressing day-to-day logistical challenges.
  • Comfortable using MS Excel, Word, and Android-based data entry tools.

Languages:

  • Fluent in Urdu, with working knowledge of the local language.
  • Basic English reading and writing skills required, particularly for reporting and record-keeping.
